A prominent deaf activist, Robert Wilder (Bernard Bragg), who had burned bridges to get to the top finds his office ransacked by an unknown culprit (Matt Ellis). Wilder then unexpectedly stumbles into a man with a past linked to his own. A series of encounters ensue in this mystery culminating with the ultimate tragedy, the dealth of the intruder.
