Third-grader Gavin and his friends at Carver Elementary don't trust the new kid, Khufu--he doesn't look or act like other kids. They think he may have stolen Gavin's bike. Meanwhile, Gavin has troubles at home when his great-aunt Myrtle arrives for a long visit.
