Sparks literally fly near Hideaway, Missouri, when Willow Traynor, a policeman's widow, is awakened from sleep in the middle of the night by the soft flicker of light coming through her bedroom window. There is an explosion, and in the resulting conflagration Willow's brother is badly injured. An investigation reveals arson, and Willow is a suspect. Dr. Graham Vaughn, owner of the burned apartment, doesn't believe Willow is capable of the crime, though. His faith in her is put to the test when two children placed in her care turn up missing. When they are later found in a place to which only Willow and Graham have access, the police once again must take Willow in for questioning. Willow is convinced someone tried twice to kill her and is still stalking her. It isn't until Willow recalls one particular recurring nightmare that she realizes the stalker could be the son of a man who unwittingly revealed crucial evidence in a criminal case while in Willow's care as a patient in the ICU years ago. The son threatens Willow in Hideaway, but is stopped just in time.Graham and Willow, both wounded from the past, discover the healing touch of God, and the friendship that has grown between them blossoms into a love that will last forever.
