Description
An African American boy named Nigel looks at the moon at night, and dreams of being an astronaut, a dancer, and even a superhero. But when he gets into the classroom, and sees how different he is from his classmates and the kids he reads about in books, his dreams deflate. During career week at school, Nigel can't bring himself to tell anyone what he wants to be until his parents come and talk about their jobs, beaming with pride in what they do and impressing his classmates. Nigel holds his head high and finally has the confidence to tell the class what he wants to be in the future.
