With more than 30 million deaf and hard of hearing individuals living in the U.S. Deaf culture thrives in America. Yet although Deaf performers are famous within their own community, they remain largely unknown to hearing audiences. See What I'm Saying focuses on four deaf performers -- actor Robert DeMayo, singer T.L. Forsberg, drummer Bob Hiltermann, and comic C.J. Jones -- over the course of one year as they endeavor to cross over into mainstream culture. Together, their intertwined stories showcase the talent and universal appeal of their struggles.
