Description
Scope and content: In general, this category will include items relating to folklore, folklife, folk culture, crafts, stories, customs, material culture, and oral tradition. Presently, contents include the booklet "The Story of Tennessee Mountain Crafts" by Helen Krechniak (1954) and some handouts about oral history and family folklore, probably distributed at a Smithsonian Institution workshop held in Nashville, Tenn. in 1982.
