Description
Scope and content: Oral history interview with Nashville dentist Walter Morgan, conducted on 16 September 1976 by Ann Wells as part of the Historic Nashville, Inc. Tennessee Centennial Oral History Project. During the 23 minute interview, Morgan discusses his experiences at the Tennessee Centennial Exposition, including the rides and traveling to the Centennial.

Biographical or Historical Data
Nashville dentist Walter McNairy Morgan was born on 20 Aug. 1889 to Henry William and Matilda (Tillie) E. Morgan. He served as a dentist during World War I. He was married to Beulah Morgan, and they had six children: Lois, Carl, Stella M., Francis, Walter, and Bertha. Morgan died on 13 Sept. 1978 and was interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
