Scope and content: Martin Brady shares with friend Deanna Larson memories of how his father (Leo Brady) and mother (Eleanor Buchroeder) met and married during World War II; his father's career as an author, playwright, director, and drama professor at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.; his grandparents; his mother's modeling career; and his mother's mental illness.
Description
Interview recorded in the Nashville StoryCorps StoryBooth, located in the Nashville Room of the Nashville Public Library from September 2007 to September 2008. Each interview is approximately 40 minutes long and conducted with the help of a trained facilitator. Most interviews are conducted by family members and friends of the interviewees. Most interviews are accompanied by digital color photographs of the participants taken at the time of the interview.
