The Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing is a statewide special library dedicated to meeting the information and accessibility needs of the deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind communities, as well as meeting the information needs about hearing loss to all Tennesseans.
Description
This series presents sign language users signing the dialogues in the accompanying texts, The Green Books. Each dialogue is presented three times, the first presenting a full view of both signers and the second and third allowing the viewer to sign with the person in the dialogue. Each DVD concludes with several stories, anecdotes or poems spontaneously presented in American Sign Language.

Gives an introductory look at sign language. Vocabulary lists are enhanced by practice sentences at the end of each lesson. The signs are given in easy to read form, along with explanations designed to help jar the memory. A good beginning tape for those wishing to learn sign language and those wishing to practice a skill already known.

Description
This DVD is designed to lead the viewer through seven sections to improve and accelerate mastery of reading fingerspelled words as a whole unit, forming fingerspelled words fluidly and accurately, and anticipating fingerspelled words based on context. An accompanying booklet is available upon request. This is not a beginning level DVD.
