Marley the dog is often in trouble, but during the first snow of the season he amazes his family with his good behavior.

When Mommy decide to surprise Cassie with a newly painted bedroom, she is careful to put the dog Marley in the garage before she begins the task. But as soon as her back is turned, Marley ventures into the house "to help." By the time he's done, the messy dog is in need of a little help himself.

Marley barks so often that his family is becoming quite annoyed. Then, when a real emergency happens, Marley struggle to decide when it is appropriate to bark and when it is not.

When Marley is left to babysit the little chicks that Cassie has brought home from school, they get loose from their cage and it is up to Marley to round them up. But he is having so much fun with them that he forgets about getting them back in their cage before Mother and Cassie get home.
